The Heart of England
Cressage View
One of the many stunning views of Shropshire, this is the vista from Cressage Bridge looking towards the Wrekin.
I deliberately travelled to this spot when I knew the clouds would give this reflected effect. I used a Circular Polariser to intensify the cloud formation and to show the best reflections in the River Severn.
In 2007 we did not have many days like this, so to get the late September sunshine was a real bonus!
In Telford and the immediate surroundings The Wrekin stands out as the lone high point in the area. It stands at 407m and from experience, is a fairly exhausting walk to the top with a baby carrier!
